I don’t think I’ve been absent for this long since I started my blog, but my life has been manic recently and something had to give. Much as I enjoy teaching, it takes a lot out of me and I get tired. In the evening, there’s always work to do of one kind or another: school, home, the WIP. Thanks for thinking of me when I had my back pain. I got myself a new chair and have been moving about more. But thank God for anti-inflammatory drugs! I'm a lot better now.
I hope you are all enjoying the weekend and that the run-up to Christmas isn’t too stressful for you! We’ll be having a quiet time at home this year and I’m looking forward to it so much. We visited with family at the end of October and husband has used up all his leave from work so he won’t get more than the usual holiday period. We haven’t had Christmas on our own for ages and it will be nice to bring down the tree decorations that are up in the attic. I think the last time we used them was ten years ago, although we’ve always put up lights outside and decorated the sitting room even when we’ve been going away. I love the traditional decorations: red, green and gold. What are your favourites?

Hi Siohban, oh gosh, yes Tiger has his own cat bed but he NEVER uses it! He would much rather sleep on the people beds. His favorite is Aly's bed and when he is in it, Aly is so very careful not to disturb him or make him move! haha. Lucky cat. Yes, our cat makes us laugh like your kitty's do. I love watching Tiger play. Its hilarious. Sometimes he just plays by himself and runs around the house. Your sons website is very nice. He is really a good looking young man! He just graduated so it takes a while to find something out there to his liking. Even if its not the job he actually wants, he should think about taking it anyway just to gain experience. Every job a person takes, you can learn from. But I'm sure you told him that already. hehe. I really love his showreel esp the pictures and the music he chose. My favorit colors for christmas...red and green. I like how people decorate their homes so elegantly. For our home though, its red and green but mostly covered with "cutsie" things like snowmans, teddybears, santa's, etc. Because my kids were so young when I started buying our decorations, I just leaned towards buying those things vs the elegant looking christmas decor. One day though, I may buy into a different theme. anyway, take it easy and enjoy the christmas season! 
Wow Meretta - An upside down tree. How radical is that? Bailey, I haven't put the tree up yet. It's in a bucket in the garden and I'm leaving it there for another week. Lights have gone up on one garden tree (two more to go). Some indoor decorations have gone up. I'm out and about tomorrow and then there are exams to mark, but son and husband can get on with the rest. Hope you're all enjoying the weekend!
