Poor Charlie Cat has been in the wars as well. He came home the other night limping. So we took him to the vet’s to discover he’d cut one of his paw pads. They gave him two injections: antibiotics and painkillers. He’s had to say home and is well on the way to making a full recovery now.
My A Level Spanish training last Friday was very useful and the new syllabus looks like it will be an improvement on the current one which focuses too much on difficult listening comprehensions. I think I’m going to enjoy teaching it.

I still haven’t heard from the RNA and the eight week waiting period is up so I sent off an email to enquire today. My m/s and reader’s report is probably languishing in a post office somewhere due to the recent postal strike. I hope it doesn’t get lost.
My plans for the weekend are to do some writing, some reading and some house and garden straightening. There’s work to do for school, but not an overwhelming amount.

Wow how lucky you are to have your Mom's birthday celebration coming up! Many blessings to her! I would love to be able to have my Mom still here for her birthday this week on Oct. 24th.
