Two weeks ago we were with our friends in Le Marche. Their seventeenth century mansion in the hilltop village of Force has been beautifully restored and we had a wonderful three days staying there. Our jaunt to the Sibillini Mountains was unforgettable for the stunning scenery. That evening the village “Sagra” took place and we bopped to the sounds of I Giganti, a pop group that had been big in the sixties and still has one original member. On the Monday, our last day in Le Marche before setting off for Ravenna, we had lunch on the beach in Pedaso. Now I am reading our friend Adam Williams’ latest novel, The Dragon’s Tail, which he finished writing in Le Marche last summer while supervising the restoration of his lovely house. This is his third novel and although I’m just half-way through it, I would say it’s his best. That has taken some doing as his first two were brilliant! I’ll write a full review when I’ve finished it.

It looks so pretty there Siobhan and I'm sure these pretty pics dont even do the views and scenery justice. How lucky you are to be able to see and enjoy such a nice holdiday in these lovely locations. Maybe someday I will be able to visit somewhere there. In the meantime, thanks for sharing those.
